5 fun free things to do in London

Although coming 27th in the list of the worlds most expensive countries to live sounds quite far down the list, we can all still agree that London is an extortionately expensive place to visit. But fear not, we're here to share with you five fun and most importantly FREE things to do whilst in London!
Lets kick it off...

Natural History Museum

Londons Natural History Museum exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history. It's a fun day out with plenty of things to do / see at the museum from quizzes and dinosaurs to fantastic beasts scavenger hunts!
Finish the outing with a 7 minute walk to our Brompton Road branch where you can wrap up the day with a coffee and cake.

Science Museum

London's Science Museum is the home of the human ingenuity. With its award-winning exhibitions, iconic objects and stories of incredible scientific achievement, it is up there with one of the most fun and educational things to visit in London. Oh, and of course, it's free!

Less than a 15 minute walk away from the Science Museum will lead you to EL&N Hans Crescent where you can immerse yourselves in all things pink, unicorns, love heart walls and delicious food and drink. The perfect end to a great day.

Oxford Street

If shopping is your thing then Oxford Circus is a must! With over 300 stores, Oxford Circus is home to some of our favourite brands. With the likes of Nike Town and Selfridges Department Store, Oxford Street is definitely a whole day-er!

Whilst out and about exploring Oxford Street, be sure to pop into Selfridges Department Store and visit us on the 4th floor for a quick pit stop. All those shopping bags are going to tire your arms out for sure - rest up at EL&N!

Tate Modern

Whether contemporary art is your thing or not, you're almost guaranteed to enjoy the art exhibitions Tate Modern has on offer. With so much to see, enjoy and learn, it's almost impossible to go away not having learnt something or not wanting a piece of Andy Warhol's art in your living room.

Just a quick ride on London's Central line tube will take you from Tate Modern to EL&N Market Place in Oxford Circus just in time for the perfect lunch.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London as well as being one of the Royal Parks of London. Covering 350 acres, with 4,000 trees, a large lake, a meadow and a flower garden, there's a pretty good chance that you'll forget that you're in the centre of London. With an array of things to do, there is something for all to enjoy. Swimming, cycling, tennis, boating, skating and a track for horse riding - and that's only naming a few!

Just a stone throw away from Hyde Park can you find our very first café right on Park Lane. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of London with our outdoor seating or escape to our flower wall heaven downstairs. Either way, enjoy some superb coffee and lunch after a stroll around the park.
